However, finding your niche may take some time. But to have your niche you need to spend that time. Remember that the time invested in finding your niche is never wasted. With each photo you click you learn something about technical aspects.

Consistency is A MUST in anything you want to do in life. Make sure you go out for photographing regularly. While photographing you don’t need to think too much, just keep shooting what you enjoy. In the process, you'll realize your favorite subjects. Stick to your new found subjects.

Whenever you are set to find your niche, think what you love: whether you love landscape, or you love clicking portraits or is that studio photography that attracts you much. Or is that people's expressions and individual beauty that captivates you the most? Or you love to document city life. You niche could be any amidst all these. And you can find it only when you spend time, gradually you will know what captivates you the most.

Once you have discovered your preferences, take time to read articles and tutorials on them. Reading them will help you have several ideas and urges about your discovered preferences. Once you have some inspiration or ideas, just act on them. Jot down all the ideas and inspirations in one place, gradually you will be able to see the connection among them.

More often than not, there is a connection between the subject you love and your life. For instance, a person is accused all his life, often those criticisms become stronger in mind. And when you capture something, it comes out just the way you think or take things.

Your style reflects YOU! To find your style keep shooting, do not think too much! Basically, you need to discover your voice photographically. To find your style - you’ve got to back up and ask two indispensable questions to yourself: “Who am I?” and “What do I want?”

Your voice, and what do you want to show up ultimately through your photographs, or any other art for that matter, such as your painting, your poetry, or your writing, is entirely about what you say and how you say it.

Knowing your voice and being aware of what you want helps you to choose your subjects, helps you to know which lenses will work perfectly for you, helps you to know which stories you want to tell and which one to let go!

Actually the truth is whatever you are, that is your style!! Rest everything is technicalities!!
